Judge delays Trump sentencing in hush money case

The judge in Donald Trump’s hush money case delayed sentencing until after the election in a significant victory for the ex-president. The sentencing had been scheduled for Sept. 18. Earlier, Trump appeared before a federal appeals court as it considered his request to throw out the verdict in E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against him. NBC News’ Laura Jarrett reports.
