Speaking after a meeting of G7 ministers in Capri, Italy, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had little to say about Israel’s strike on Iran other than to say the U.S. was not involved in any offensive operations and that Washington and its allies were working to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East.
