On April 22, 2023, law enforcement officers were called to the 200 block of Santa Fe Avenue around 7:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a deceased woman, later identified as 60-year-old Kimberly Robinson. Nearly two months later, on June 24, authorities returned to the same vicinity at approximately 8 a.m. and found the lifeless body of 25-year-old Cherish Gibson. Subsequently, at around 9 p.m. on a Saturday, the police were alerted to the 800 block of Brazos Street, about a mile away along the Trinity River, where they stumbled upon the body of an unidentified woman.

The Investigation Unfolds
The investigation revealed that at least two of the victims had potential ties to prostitution. As of Tuesday, the police had not established any connections between the deaths. The Police Department refrained from commenting on the relationship between Garcia and the three women, citing an ongoing investigation.
